Using Impact Manager Beta
Impact Manager is a system designed to make it easy for your Impact100 Chapter to learn how to start, grow and make an impact in your community. Below find basic instructions for using the system, outlining the major sections and functionality.
Impact Manager in Brief
Impact Manager was created as an education system for Impact100 chapters. It contains several areas that help Impact100 chapters, both new and existing, optimize their chapter and ensure they are impacting their community.
Below find quick overviews of each major area of Impact Manager. Each area is also covered in more detail in it’s own section on this page.

Impact Chapter Setup Modules
At the core of each program, education modules contain chapter-specific information and needs one must learn to be effective in their work. Additionally, each Module is broken into Elements, individual “lessons,” which can be “checked off” in the system to show completion and comprehension.
Each Module contains resources that can be use to expand the learning of a Module, or bring that module to life in a practical sense. For example, Module 7, “Governance,” contains a downloadable, editable document with Sample Chapter Bylaws, which can be modified to fit your chapter’s needs. These Resources can be found both in the Modules themselves, or in the Resources and Tools page.
The Your Team section allows you to see at a glance the members of your Impact100 Impact Manager team and their information, assignments and progress. From this section, an Impact Manager chapter administrator can also assign Modules to team members.
A major part of the Impact100 setup process is prospecting — creating your list of prospective chapter members. The Add Prospects section allows you to enter contacts that you think would be able to help create your chapter’s collective impact. These prospects are then merged with other Impact Manager team member’s prospects into a master list.
Once your personal prospects have been submitted to the chapter and merged with other team member’s prospects, they will be added to the Chapter Prospects section, which shows all prospects for a chapter, aggregate and filtered for duplicates, and to which team member outreach to the prospect is assigned. In the event of a duplicate entry submitted by more than one team member, the prospect will be assigned to the team member who has indicated the closest relationship with the prospect.
From this section, view overall completion of the assigned Chapter Setup Modules, as well as overall team completion percentage. This section will also help Impact Manager administrators see Chapter Setup Module assignments at a glance team wide.
Resources & Tools
All Chapter Resources (which are also found in context on the corresponding Chapter Setup Module page) are aggregate on this page, allowing for a quick, at-a-glance view and downloading of any resources found on the Impact Manager application.
Our Community Forums are a place to connect with and learn from successful Impact100 chapters around the world. In the forums your may post topics/questions, reply to others’ questions or search/browse answers. Whatever your chapter is experiencing, it’s likely a chapter has been there before! Lean on your fellow Impact100 chapters and make sure creating your impact is as smooth as possible.
The Dashboard is your high-level overview of your team in brief. It contains quick links to key sections, such as your Module assignments, team activity, latest Community Forum posts, and Prospecting progress.
It also may contain a welcome message or news from your Impact Manager chapter leader. If you are designated the team leader in Impact Manager, you can also create a message for your team which will appear on their Dashboards by clicking the “Edit Welcome Message for Your Chapter” button at the top of the dashboard.
Other Information on the Dashboard
Your Impact Manager dashboard also allows a quick view of the number of personal prospects you’ve entered (not total prospects for the Chapter), your Module assignments and their completion status, updates on your Chapter teammates activity in the Impact Manager application, and the latest posts from the Impact100-wide Community Forums.
These at-a-glance widgets can help you align yourself within the application, and find what you want to tackle next to help your Chapter develop and make an impact.
Impact Chapter Setup Modules
The core of Impact Manager, these education modules contain the information that a chapter and individual needs to be effective in their work. Modules cover subjects ranging from Creation of an Impact100 Board to Governance, Marketing and much more. Each Module is broken into Elements, individual “lessons,” which can be “checked off” in the system to show completion and comprehension.
Modules may also be assigned to a member of your Impact Manager team, with that user then responsible for completing and checking off the Elements within that Module. This then contributes to your overall Chapter completion percentage.
